Beaver Lake Sailing Club (BLSC) facilities are available for American Sailing classes conducted by certified instructors from an American Sailing Affiliate

Classes are open to the public (Club members are prioritized when enrollment is limited). If scheduled dates don’t work you might ask about alternate dates via the email below. ASA-101  Basic Keelboat Sailing – TBD – 2 days

Classes offered thru American Sailing affiliates (Click ‘Where Do I Start’ above to learn more).
ASA-102  Keelboat Sailing 2 – 2 days  (New ASA class focused on increasing performance. Requires ASA 101)
ASA-103  Basic Coastal Cruising – 2 days (Requires ASA 101)
ASA-104  Bareboat Chartering – 2.5 days (Requires ASA 101 & 103)
ASA-105  Coastal Navigation – 2.5 days
ASA-117  Basic Celestial Endorsement – 2.5 days (Requires ASA 105)
ASA-107  Celestial Navigation – 2.5 days (Part Two of Celestial Endorsements – Requires ASA 117)
ASA 118  Docking Endorsement – 1 day

Courses include textbooks and materials. Basic Keelboat Sailing (ASA-101) includes an ASA Logbook and a 90-day free ASA trial membership (subject to change by ASA). Celestial Navigation (ASA-107) requires several books and special materials not included in above pricing.

IMPORTANT… IF INTERESTED IN LEARNING TO SAIL FOLLOW INSTRUCTIONS BELOW
A $100 Deposit for materials & instructor time is required upon registration (Refundable up to one week before class date). Students must be registered, with full payment, at least three weeks prior to scheduled class dates.
