All applications for membership must be approved by vote of the Beaver Lake Sailing Club Board of Directors.\u00a0 The board usually meets each month and will consider applications* and conduct other club business.\u00a0<\/p>\n

* BLSC may be accepting applications, but if membership is at maximum capacity, applicants will be added to Membership Waiting List until overall membership is reduced.\u00a0 At that time the Board of Directors will review accepted applications based on the order they were received.<\/p>\n

How to apply:<\/p>\n

1.\u00a0 Contact a Board member & visit the club or be a crew member on a boat for a race day.\u00a0 (Board member information is found under the ‘ABOUT’ menu above).<\/em>
2.\u00a0 Have a club member sponsor you (If you don’t know a club member, contact a board member for help).<\/em>
3.\u00a0 Download, print, review and complete the Application AND Background Check forms below.\u00a0
Please include the $50 application fee plus a non-refundable $35 Background Check fee with your application (Total $85).\u00a0 \u00a0Submit $35 for each Background check requested.<\/em>

<\/b>4.\u00a0 If you own a boat that might be kept on Club property, attach copies of the current boat registration and proof of liability insurance.<\/p>\n

If your application has been approved and a membership slot is available (based upon Membership Waiting List, when applicable):<\/p>\n

1.\u00a0 The Board will notify you that membership is being offered.
2.\u00a0 You will be assigned a seniority date.
3.\u00a0 Become a member in good standing by paying your dues and fees.*<\/strong>\u00a0 The Treasurer will notify you of any membership dues and\/or fees* required at that time, including the $750 initiation fee*<\/strong> (less the $50 application fee).<\/p>\n\n\n

If you want a wet or<\/em> dry slip for your boat, you must sign up for the Slip Waiting List. The list may be long, and you may have an extended wait (2 to 4 years)<\/strong> before slips become available. Slip waiting list information is in the Members Only area.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Once you\u2019re a member in good standing you can access the club, join us for all the club events and so much more!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Slip Fees Will Vary by Type: Full, Half, Tie-up or Dry Lot Trailer
